The most important aspect of the poker perhaps resides in psychology, especially for the high bettings....
Sometimes, you are not worried any more about your hand or the hand of your adversary: you just play against the person and not against his cards.
For this reason it is very important to know what you do, for example when you want bluff because the joke can cost you a lot. However if you know when and why use it, it means that you control the psychological aspect of the poker.
This cannot be handled quickly, it is a long-term process that we can start feeling after a long trainning time.

The image that the others have about you is very important. If you already won some relevant pots, they will be let take more easily by your bluff than if you go up to each hand. You must inspire the respect with a table to make them believe what you want.
The good money management, is one of principal qualities of a good player of poker. It is very important not to play beyond your means. That’s why all the professional players of poker have a "bankroll". The ' bankroll' is a budget which the players of poker use to play. This money is exclusively intended for the poker. Your bankroll is your working tool, as well as a racket for a player of tennis: without racket, no need to go up on the ground. You cannot consider your bankroll as money for purshasing.
Your bankroll is a weapon which you will use to win!
How much money do you need to play the poker?
The good answer is $0,00. You can play for free. The players wishing to play for money must make sure that they have sufficient funds to compensate for the fluctuations of the game. The poker is a play based on the skill but the chance also plays an important part. Even the best players of the world do not escape from the ' badluck' and your bankroll must be able to face these risks. A gold rule is to have a bankroll being equivalent to 20 times the inscription. E.g, if you play of the blinds with $0,05-0,10 and that the inscription amounts to and that the inscription amounts to $5,00, you will need $100 as a bankroll. A player of poker cannot always win: you will have bad days during which the losses accumulate. While having a sufficient bankroll, you are sure to have always enough money to come back.
No bankroll is enough for a player who loses. If you do not play correctly and that you lose constantly, you will finish by lose everything even if you have enormous a bankroll. It is important to start by learning the gamr. It is following to that, that you will be able to earn money.
Establish a bankroll:
As a beginner, you must first establish your bankroll. There are various methods to do it:
Freeroll Tournament: take part in free tournaments and try to earn money without investment. Pay a certain amount and increase it progressively. If you do not wish to invest money, you can take part in our freerolls. The best players are awarded.
The money that you win allows you to sit you at the paying tables. E.g, play for bettings of $0,05-$0,10, in which you can take part for only $5,00. As soon as you win sufficient money, you will be able to bet more. Always check your bankroll, do not run too fast to the bigger tables. If you have money or you wish to start playing seriously, choose a limit with which you estimate to be able to play confortable. For example the tables with $0,50-$1 whose inscription rise up to $100. In this case, you will need a bankroll of $2.000. If you lose several times your bankroll, it is time to reconsider your method of play or to go down quite simply from a level.
You don’t like to wait and and you want to go straight in the action? Then you can make a small deposit, like $15. That will enable you to start with the tables with $0,05-$0,10. Good luck!

Omaha Hi-Lo Poker is an alternative of Omaha Poker. Omaha Hi-Lo Poker observes the same rules that Omaha Poker, but presents some important differences: In Omaha Hi-Lo Poker, the players give up the hand less quickly because the highest hand and the lowest hand divide the pot in the same way. Two to eight people can play at the same time.
To play Omaha hi-lo Poker:
Note: to play Omaha Poker, it is necessary to have sufficient chips (chips without money value) in order to be able at least to play the blinds (bet obligatory in turn).
1. The player on the left of the dealer starts the game by betting small the blind, and that on the left of small the blind plays large the blind. The position of the dealer changes after each hand and is indicated by the dealer button.
2. Each player receives four cards of hand.
3. During the first turn, the player on the left of large the blind can choose among the following options:
see - bet – raise - check
Note:: the option ' Check' (to pass) is not available for the players during the first turn because the blinds were already misés.
You must at least bet your blind to be able to play.
4. At the time of the second turn, three common cards are distributed. It is the ' flop'. The players have the choice among the following options:
see - bet – raise - check
5. At the time of the third turn, a fourth common card is distributed: the ' turn' (turning). It follows a new turn of bettings.
6. At the time of the fourth turn, a fifth common card is distributed: the ' river' (river). It is followed of the last turn of bettings. The remaining players use two cards of their hand with three common cards of the flop in order to obtain the best possible combination for the highest and lowest hand. The player having the highest hand gains a half of the pot and that having the lowest hand gains other half.
Important: The low hands must be made of two cards of hands and of three common cards of the flop. The low hands can win only if all the 5 cards are lower 9. An ace counts for one 1. If the flop does not contain three cards lower than 9, it is not possible any more to choose the lowest hand.
Note: It’s not always possible to obtain the highest hand as the lowest hand because there is not always a low hand. It’s possible to win the totality of the pot having the highest hand and the lowest. If another player has the same highest or lowest hand, the pot will be shared in four ( quartered).
Example: The player A has the highest hand and then wins the corresponding share. The players B and C have both of them the lowest hand. The pot is of 100$. The player A will receive then the half of the pot because he has the highest hand.Regarding the players B and C will obtain the other half of the pot but like they are two, they will receive then each a quarter of the pot that is to say 25$.
Game sequence:
The two players at the left of the dealer button bet the little and the big blind. The players receive four cards
First bet turn The dealer deals three common cards: third street
Second bet turn: The dealer deals again a common card : the turn
Third bet turn: the dealer deals the last common card: the river
Last bet turn: The players compare their hands to determine the winner. The player having the highest hand will gain the pot.
It’s the showdown.
Basic strategy:
To improve your chances to win, apply the folllowing strategy:
Always try to win throught a high or low hand.
Never place your hopes in an eventually combination to win the half of the pot. Play strong hands at the beginning.

Strategy
Starting hands:
There are two essential differences between Texas Hold’em and Omaha. The first is that with Omaha each player receive four cards face turned down instead of two. The second is that you precisely have to use two of these cards at the time of you final hand.
Like in Texas Holdem, some strong starting hands will give you much more chances to finish with a strong hand of victory.
Ah, Ac, Kh, Kc Options:
Draw at the superior color and excellents possibilities of full.
Kh, Qd, Jd, 10h
Options: two straight royal flush, three other straight flush, two colors and sixteen other straights. Without talking about the highest cards for the pairs, three of kinds and fulls.
10d, 9d, 8c, 7h
Options: A lot of possibilities of straights and also straight flush.
Ac, Jd, Jh, 8c Options: Possibilities of superior color, of superior straight and of full.
Weak starting hands
Kc, 7c, 6c, 2c
Options: cards matching giving few other possibilities than the color.
6h, 6c, 6d, Jd Options: Any hand contaning three of kinds can improve itself. Even the draw of the color of this hand is only a third choice, It’s better to get rid of it.
2c, 2d, 3s, 3h Options: Be vigilant, this hand seems to be intesresting but the most of the time , you will not obtain better that the three of kinds.
To increase your chances to win, apply the following strategies:
Like you have the choice among nine cards, the victorious hands tend to be high. If you are at a table with a lot of players; for example, eight to ten, it’s very frequent that someone has the strongest hand possible. If you have a good hand but not the best possible, be vigilant.

8. Before starting to play, it is important to know the value of your starting hands. If you never yet played the poker, you must initially learn the rules from "Hold' em Poker". Do not forget either to have a look at the "classification of the hands", to always know which...
You will find below a list of potential starting hands. The hands of group 1 are the best cards than you can obtain. The chances to have a pair of ace are about 220/1, which is also valid for any pair. A pair in a hand is called a "pocket even". The hands of the first group are very strong and increase your chances to win. They are not however unbeatable. Let’s suppose that you obtained AA and that another person has 88: you have 82% of chances to win. However it is always possible that you cannot beat the 88 of your adversary. The objective is to win in the long-term, also give to your adversary less and less opportunities to beat you and the victory will come in convenient time. If this situation occurs 10 times, you will win 8 times but the 2 failures will remain deeply in your memory because the loss is often important and painful. The poker is a game based on the skill, where the chanche plays an important role.
All the art consists in minimizing the chances to win of your adversary. Always try to think in the long run. The chance falls under the short term, a pair of eight will not eternally beat your pair of ace. Sometimes it will sometimes happen to you to accumulate the "bad beats". In a similar situation, keep your calms. It is even advised to stop a few moments. Walk, take a pause and think of another thing. A bad beat will influence your play and will increase your losses. As a player beginning, it is better to hold you with the basic strategy : start again and/or bet with good cards and/or give up the hand.
3 simples rules to retain:
1. Learn the strong points from your starting hands.
2 Exploit the advantage of your position
3. Learn how to give up
The types hand of players: Loose-passive: A player "loose-passive" is a person who plays enormously of hands but only while following (call). Even if it has good hands, it is satisfied to follow instead of opening (bet). This type of player is often weak and hardly has consistency: they are ' sitting ducks' (easy targets)
Loose-Aggressive: The players "loose-aggressive" (detach-aggressive) seek the action, bet constantly and try to intimidate the other players. It is very difficult to determine if they have really a good hand.
Tight-passive: A player "tight-passive" (tight-liability) is also called "rock". It acts players who play only with very good hands, but in a very passive way. In general, they are satisfied to follow (call) an opening (bet) but do not dare to go up (raise).
Tight-Aggressive: As a player, you want to be of type "tight-aggressive" (tight-aggressive). You play with good hands in a selective way and if you take part, you play aggressively. You do not let players taker over you and show who is the best. The chance passes, but knowledge remains!
